How is the fuel cost calculated?
Enter your car's fuel efficiency, the current fuel price, and your trip distance. The app converts everything to a common unit internally (litres per 100 km) and multiplies by the fuel price to give you an estimated total cost.
Which units are supported?
Efficiency: Miles per UK gallon, Miles per US gallon, or Litres per 100 km.
Fuel price: Pence per litre, Cents per litre, or Dollars per litre.
Distance: Miles or Kilometres.
Does the app save my inputs?
Yes. Your last-used values and unit selections are saved locally on your device so you don't have to re-enter them every time. Nothing is ever sent off your device.
Does the app collect any data?
No. The app has no analytics, no tracking, no ads, and no internet connection. Everything stays on your device.
Why does the result disappear when I change a value?
The result clears automatically whenever you change any input, so you're never looking at a stale figure. Just tap Calculate again once you're happy with your values.
I'm seeing "Invalid Input" — what does that mean?
Each field must contain a number greater than zero. Check that you haven't left a field empty or accidentally entered letters. The app will highlight which field needs attention.
