Features

Departure Board

The main screen shows live departures from your chosen station. Each row displays the scheduled time, expected time, destination, and platform number. Trains shown in green are on time. Delayed or cancelled trains are highlighted in red.

Calling At Filter

Set an optional destination station to show only trains that call at that stop. The arrival time at your destination will appear on each relevant row.

Saved Presets

Save your favourite station pairs as presets for quick switching. Tap the Presets button in the navigation bar to switch between them instantly. Swipe left on a preset to delete it, or drag to reorder.

Auto Refresh

Enable auto-refresh in Settings to update departures automatically every 60 seconds while the app is open. This can be turned off to save battery.

Settings

Accessible from the menu (top right). Allows you to configure:

Rows Number of departures to show (up to 150)
Time Window How far ahead to look (up to 8 hours)
Time Offset Shift the start time forward or backward
Auto Refresh Toggle automatic 60-second refresh

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are no departures showing?

Check that your station CRS code is correct. If the board shows "No departures found", there may be no services running in the current time window — try increasing the Time Window in Settings.

The departure times look wrong or outdated

Pull down on the list to force a refresh. If the issue persists, check your internet connection. The "Updated" timestamp in the top right shows when data was last successfully retrieved.

How do I find a station's CRS code?

Use the station search — tap the departure or destination station field and type the station name. The app searches over 2,570 UK stations and shows the CRS code alongside each result.

Can I see arrivals as well as departures?

The app currently shows departures only. If you set a "Calling At" destination, the estimated arrival time at that station is shown on each row.

Does the app use my location?

No. The app never requests or uses your device location. Stations are selected manually by you.

Does the app work offline?

An internet connection is required to fetch live departure data. The app cannot display departure information without a connection to the Rail Data UK API.

What data does the app send or collect?

Only the station codes you select are sent to the Rail Data UK API to retrieve departure information. No personal data, location, or device information is collected or stored by the developer. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
